If he has a nice mass, didn't clean as often, and drove it shirtless (both of which are very likely), then yes...that much wear is possible.

Also, did the E90's use Dakota leather, also? Is Merino just from F80+?
Tbh - I prefer automatic. Not a fan of manual at all. It would be my DD.

The leather is stretched a little from being sat in, but I don't see any wear to speak of. The drivers bolster looks fine, only other spot that really wears is the steering wheel and carpet, which this pic doesn't show.
I'll post a picture of the steering wheel in a sec, they didn't take a great picture. They want 24k - 2008 M3 with 30k miles. I'd probably mod it a bit and get a BBK and some hubcaps

My overall question is this wear normal for 30k miles? Or does it look like 50k-70k mileage leather wear? Nervous they might have rolled back the mileage due to it being an '08 and NY'ers being scummy

I wouldn't buy that - to quote a kid wise in his own eyes, it's simply not the same thrill as the M4 / M6.

Oh wait, here's a quote from the sage himself. We all should bow down to these words of wisdom.

I know you may be upset due to me educating you a bit on price vs demand, but your response is not helpful to my question sir.

I'd only have to pay like 7k on this car if I got it, which I don't really want it, but it's better than my G and less pricier.... so....I'll take the L maybe

Well, no. That looks more than 30k imo. But, that might be because it's red leather, which shows dirt a lot more than black/grey. A proper detail will improve the color, and take some imperfections out...but the cushioning seems to be well worn.

I wouldn't worry about the mileage being rolled back...I'd be worried about it being a rebuilt.

Is it a vert? Looks like water damage to me. My driver's seat looks like that with 100k on it, but I drive it daily and am frequently sweaty. The rest of my seats look better than that.

As far as I'm aware, you have provided me no education on price vs demand, a subject I'm well versed in, and am extremely doubtful you ever could.

If you don't want the car, why are you looking at it.
If you don't want the car, why would you consider going in debt for it
How is a car "less pricier" than your existing car if you have to sell your current car AND go into debt to buy it?

Does that help?

OP doesn't know what an E9X is.
OP wants to throw a BBK and hub caps on an M3.
OP doesn't care for a manual.

Question #1: have you driven an M3 from the model years 2008-2013 (this is the generation E9X, since the E90 is a 4 door, E92 is a two door, and the E93 is the convertible)?

Question #2: have you considered going F30 335/340 or 435/440 FBO? Maybe this route may be better suited for you

Question #3: answer truthfully: why an M4 or M6 over any older M or non M model?

Yes it is a convertible. And really? You think it's water damager or mileage could've been rolled?

He stated it's a clean title and not rebuilt.

Please view photos above - found an 08 M3 vert with "30k" mileage, provided photos of the leather.

I do, but I think I could live with an older M3 and throw a BBK and some CF shit on it

I could do the VIN run - but would this show me service records etc? People are saying the leather on it is basically piss, so I don't know what to do.

Running VIN through dealer will show service history.

Interior needs a deep cleaning; ~$300-$400.

Have you looked at the car in person?

Real talk. What are you trying to get out of this (buying car)? Like, you trying to pull bitches, and get laid or you trying to get a DD?

Na B - already have enough bitches where I have two phones, one for the plug and one for the hoes.

No I haven't looked at the car in person yet, just started negotiating. And if the interior needs a deep cleaning at 30k miles... that doesn't sound very good to me? Lol

I feel like it'll have potential water damage as someone suggested or mileage was rolled.
