It's crazy to see him do this when we know quali is not RB's strongest suit, and they don't set the car up for quali. It is usually crazy close in quali so that difference comes down to the driver.

This afternoon: qualies - he got pole position, and by achieving this, he equalled world records held by Senna and Prost since over 30 years.

This evening: ± 2h55 non-stop competitive nightdriving on the virtual Nürburgring for his iracing Team Redline during the "Nürburgring 24h" event - GT3 race leader - he made no mistake.

Time will tell whether Max Verstappen is the greatest F1 driver ever. But as for now, one can hardly dispute that his racing skills are second to none. Regardless whether you appreciate him or other F1 drivers, we are witnessing during this era a truly exceptional race driver.

I've said this since day 1. I know what I have seen at the karting track in Genk (Belgium)
And that was unreal !

4 years ago I've said to MKsixer : MAX will beat LEW like he's never been beaten before.
LEW will sink like a brick in the water ...

to be fair, the Horner -> Jos -> Newey -> Max saga only happened a week after they signed Lewis, so if they held off for a week they might have had a chance to tempt Max

I see what you're saying but even that storm in a tea cup saga wouldn't rock MAX's boat to the extent of suddenly jumping ship seing his main aim is to win races with a sure fire winning car and already pots of money lining his pockets more than he knows what to do with.
