Naturally born midgets or do you have some ray or potion in your arsenal to shrink non-midgets to midget size?

My first computer was a Timex-Sinclair 1000. I bought at a drugstore in 1982. The BASIC programs were loaded from an audio cassette player. Average load times were about 6 minutes. I had a lot of fun with it, and I still have it.

While we are on a roll with first computers ... Colorado School of Mines had a special deal with IBM for the first issued IBM dual floppy in 1985. I hung onto this dinosaur adding in hard drives, modems, graphic card and eventually had to retire it to keep up with ever improving software.

Yes, BASIC was pretty cool. One of my programs was a crude flight simulator. I figured out how to view the BASIC code after the program loaded. From there, I was able to alter the code so the simulator airplane would go super sonic and also fly under ground, sort of like a submarine. Heh!

If you can BASIC, you can program anything. It's just a bit different words, but the logic process remains.
