I'd rather have snows on for longer than necessary than be caught in cold temps with summers. No grippy, no good. I got caught a few cars ago with summers in cold dry weather because the snows weren't available yet and it was dicey as far as stopping power.

It was already 79 F at 9:15 AM this morning here! The heat pump was cranking out cold all night, and it was a nippy 66 F inside when I woke up.
Unfortunately, that cool was short-lived. My DW saw a single/lone spider in the foyer at 5 AM, and must have sprayed 5 cans of Raid rather than waking me up to squish it. Every window in the house is open and vent fans running, but my nose still only smells bug killer even now at 11 AM. OCD psycho dog let himself outside to nap on the deck, because his big sniffer must be even more messed up than mine is by the death cloud. Oh, and because I'm not my parents, the AC is still cranking even though the windows are open and fans on. I need to flush the bug spray vapors out of the AC return ducts before it gets any warmer outside.....

It's been heavy rain, Tornado Warnings followed by clear skies today. I suspect that the earth will open and locusts will be swarming soon...

It's 71 F and sunny here, about 10 degrees (F) warmer than the forecast. Absolute perfect day, possibly the nicest day for all of 2022.....

We're still messing around with 30's at night and 50's in the day, with the occasional warmer day thrown in just to torment us. And wind. Every day it's windy as hell. "Next week's" forecast always looks great, but it's been vaporware so far. We finally get to "next week" and it's cold, rainy, and windy again.

Daffodils took a beating last night with the freeze. Barely touched 50F today. Next weekend is supposed to be in the 80's. We'll see.

Overnight was in the high 20's, brrr had shut off the furnace to wake up to cold house. Not expecting to be much above high 50's this week. Sure it's April, yesterday I saw snow for about 15 minutes, was not happy about that.

I shut off the heat too. It was 59 inside when I woke up this morning, but I slept good.
