YOUNGER Brother turned 51 Monday. LAst night we all went to dinner.
Dad called just as wife/I were getting in the car. "Wait, I'll stop by. I can't find my wallet, and don't like driving without my license. You can drive us all to the restaurant" He got there, said his wife called and found his wallet, in his pants. He thought that's where it was, but . . . WHERE ARE MY PANTS??!!!!!! |

A lot. Starting to believe you have something against pants. And I'm not sure what they ever did to you.

Same, but skateboarding. Multiple knee surgeries over the years. I'm told I'll have some nice shiny titanium knees one day, I hope not. My knees are more accurate than the weather man these days. I can usually let you know it's going to rain a day or two in advance.

Get an X-ray. Make an informed decision. I know a lot of people with new knees but none who regret it.

I laughed too hard at this.
How weird is it that I'm younger than both of you and used to shave with a straight razor? Key words "used to." It only took one cut, no more. That thing now stays in a box of keep sakes, for the grandkids and great grandkids so they can hear stories about how one day their grandfather almost died shaving. |

I remember being in the basement bathroom at grandpa's. There was some huge family event, wedding or something, and both he and my dad were looking at me shaving with a disposable. Grandpa said something to the effect "You aren't going to make him donate blood the old fashioned way?"

Torture, it was. During Basic Combat Training at Ft. Bliss, TX, we bivouac'd in the desert. Knowing that it would be difficult to shave early the next morning, our entire squad decided to "out smart" our drill sergeant and shave the night before.
After we broke camp the next morning and had all of our gear loaded on our shoulders our drill sergeant had us line up at attention. One by one he inspected everyone of us and of course, noticed the slight shadow. So, all of us ended dry-shaving WHILE WE MARCHED for the rest of the day... with one razor! When one trainee finished shaving, the razor was passed to the guy behind him. The razor was dull and nasty before long. We didn't try that trick again.
