...as long as tropical cyclone Fili stays off the eastern shore!

We're looking at mid-50's F highs and various states of rainy for the rest of the week here in the northeast USA.

One thing worth mentioning is that March came in like a lamb and went out like a lion here, despite the old saying of the opposite.....

I am from far north so everywhere else tends to be too hot. Or actually, too humid. These days the weather is definitely too humid and needs to figure out what it wants to be because it is all over the place.

But no wind, right? I need to make sure ot go home and water my new plants in the ground outside.
Peas I put in a starter tray, then didn't water and hid in the shed have already sprouted My dad taught me that if you plant peas, but then they get wet before sprouting, they won't sprout at all.

Calabacitas and watermelon haven't sprouted yet

I used to, you just pound your leg joints for nothing. Walking and cycling is much better for you and if you can go swimming also.

Weird variations on the way to work this morning. Got my motorcycle back yesterday so rode to work in a vest.

At the house, checked and it was 56 in the garage. Seemed like I was in a little cool depression. As I was crossing the 101 on the overpass, significant change in air temp (up) and humidity (down). Very comfortable riding for the next 5-6 miles.

Then I came within 2 miles of the ocean, and suddenly hit a patch of fog. Temp dropped 10-15 degrees, and now my pants are damp from the knees down. Rode about 2 miles in that fog.

Then, suddenly, it's gone. I'm even closer to the ocean now, but it's just gone. Arrive at work a bit chilled, but I will appreciate that sensation later when I head home and it's 90. . .
