Another choice shot from CCS motorcycle club racing this past weekend. Still have 800 more shots to go through from 2 cameras... Too much!

This was shot with my Canon Rebel XTi, EF 70-300 IS USM lens, with old Kenco 1.5x TC which does not work on my 6D.

That shot would make a great diptych with your earlier shot of the empty corner, IMHO.

Haha, interesting concept, I remember that contest from last year. It is the same corner, by the way

Can a diptych be vertical or do the photos have to be side by side?

Here's an artistic shot with the tire barrier and a rider leaning in to a turn in the background, another of my faves from the race weekend:

The hawk's, but surprisingly small. I need to find the kingbird nest. Evidently, it's only a tree or two away from the hawk's nest.

That's a great shot too. It can be horizontal or vertical. I tried both but I'll post a couple horizontal ones here.

Busted! I caught this tree eating varmint in my backyard munching on my fruit trees. It's been a dry year so it's not uncommon to see the deer wandering the neighborhood.
It's a bit soft, as I just grabbed the camera and started shooting. It was dusk and even with 1600ISO I only had a 1/100 shutter speed.

I was out at Adler Planetarium today shooting pics of the city when several (4, I think) wedding parties showed up. I stole a pic of one group who got off their party bus near me. I think the bride was not happy about me sniping pics.

I was actually quite far away. The was with the 70-300 and 1.4x TC, so 420mm and a serious crop. I'm surprised she even saw me.
