Completely agree with you.
I was out of an M3 for a couple years, and just a few week ago got back into another. So happy with that. But while I was out, I took the time to see car enthusiasts from the other perspective. And the whole judging of cars, which is very apparent in this thread, is what gives us BMW owners, M specifically, the label of douchebags, etc. Just chill, let people do what they want with their car, and you with yours. That's all.

I've stuck M badges and SUBARU badge on my friend's car lol. It took him a while to notice. It was pretty funny haha. I am sure there are people out there that if you stuck a badge onto their car as a joke they wont even notice.
On a side note my sister drives a 135i with M sport package and imo kind of embarrassing driving around a non-m car with more m badges than a real m car.

I saw this one the other day. I didn't just have M badges on the trunk but on the sides as well! Like anyone believes you're driving an M car!
Oh wait...never mind |

Accord M3, nice.
I see a lot of AMG's around here that aren't full-blown AMG models. So I can surmise its a fake badge if they actually have a badge on the rear? I know AMG has sport packages similar to how the M-sport is, I just assumed they also put a badge up too.

First time seeing an e90 328/330 with an M3 badge in real life the other day. Jerk was weaving in and out of traffic as well. Maybe that's why M owners have a bad image? *shrugs*

Meh I stopped caring a while ago.
Funny how guys on this site think they have reps as dbags because of an M3. Most other M3 drivers I see are dorks who work in cubicles which is why I don't wave back or go to BMW car meets. |
