Anything by Cloudwater brewery in the UK. Oddly, I last drank it in Poland even though I live close to where it's made!

Lagers are best fridge cold and some darker beers like Greene King IPA,Guinness or John Smiths taste better from the larder.

He always drank a pilsner, Labatt Blue, and that is one that is best consumed cold(about 4c is best). He simply preferred it warm and that's ok. It kept everyone from drinking his beer.

Labatt Blue, a pilsener type lager that's the best selling Canadian beer in the world.

The liquor laws in this country around interprovincial sales never cease to astound me.

I don’t think you can buy labatt blue in Alberta.

When I was in college in upstate NY (way last century), we could get:

Labatts returnables (or O'Keefe)
or Genny Cream Ale

for the same price!

New Castle is my standard because I love English Ales and you can get it anywhere. Old Speckled Hen is my favorite and I'll get than when it's available. So delicious. IPAs are the hot thing right now but I don't really care for hobby beers, so if you are like me I can't recommend Old Speckled Hen enough. However, even my IPA loving friends who I've introduced this beer to made it one of their new top beers because it still has lots of flavor.

Wasn't paying attention, to tell you the truth. It was with a bunch of other groceries. I have a bad habit of not watching the cashier ring stuff up.

Sounds expensive, but you never know. Could be worth it!
These days you could be in trouble if you don't know what that 6-pack cost.

So I googled it:

"Notes: Space Dust: a totally nebular IPA. Great Western premium two-row, combined with c-15 and Dextri-Pils, give this beer a bright and galactic Milky Way hue. The hopping is pure starglow energy, with Chinook to bitter, with late and dry additions of Citra and Amarillo. Space Dust is out of this world, with 62 IBU."

Nebular. Can't argue wit dat!

During the pandemic, they allowed bars here to sell takeout food and takeout booze. The pub we get takeout from sells a 6-pack of Space Dust for $14, which I think is the standard retail price.

I like some of their stuff. Had the 312 Wheat on the plane to Hawaii once and I enjoyed the Sofie here at home. Had one of the Bourbon County stouts and thought it was way too sweet and over rated
