You are correct sir, this wasn't mainly about cars because like I stated in my post, I have repsect for the products Lexus produce and will not just start throwing wild ignorant statements out there just to be heard or make myself feel important. The friend story was just an example regarding a certain type of people who buy Lexus vehicles it seems just to brag how great they are. I could care less, but it does get old after a while.

The bottom line is this, Lexus has only been around for 20 years or so, Mercedes well over 100 and BMW is closing in on its centennial as well and both companies are still going strong on a global basis. Their products are far from perfect, but they wouldn't still be in business if they weren't doing something right. When Lexus reaches 100 years old and has had no down times, I will then gladly sit for hours and listen to people tell me that they are the sliced bread of the auto industry. Until then, SHUT UP and let me and other car lovers enjoy the cars we want.

Now you're depicting the exact fanboi that you claim to despise. If you want to sit there and claim that BMW and MB are superior because of 100 years of history, your entire premise is FAIL!

I can list multiple companies that have brought much more to the table in recent history than BMW can. Benz at least plays in the supercar realm, something BMW has never been able to do.

Any time a BMW loses a comparison, people (not all) say the reviewers were bought out, base their opinion on a 10 year old version of the competitors car and conclude that the new one is junk, say that it has no driving feel, bring up free maintenance, etc.

BMW forums have BMW bias. Lexus forums have Lexus bias. There is no god given rule on these forums that you can't be opinionated.

Once you recognize someone you label as a 'fanboy', the appropriate action would be to move on and ignore them. Everyone is entitled to their own preference, and these forums are fueled by opinions. They would be pretty barren if you limited posts to factual content only.

What? Not once in either post did I ever say those two companies were superior because of their history. I just stated that they have been around much longer then Lexus was all and their 100 years or so has had a lot more ups then downs. A perfect example of this is GM. They rang in their 100 years by going bankrupt cause they built poor products and made very poor business decisions. Neither BMW or Mercedes are in any danger of that happening, so they must be doing something right. Thats all that statement meant. Secondly, not once did I ever say anything bad about lexus and I repeatedly poked fun at and stated that both BMW and Merc products are far from perfect. If that makes me a fan boy, then I guess I am one and we can just close this thread now.

I am sorry, but a lot of Lexus owners rub me the wrong way. By the responses on here from others, they have certain car buyers that do the same to them. We all do. Judging from the majority or your posts on this forum perhaps I should have begun this thread with all M3 owners are clueless pricks...... ( WHICH IS NOT HOW I FEEL JUST TO BE CLEAR )
