Unreal hey, RM spending 250 mill and still not advancing. I think they said its 6 years now they've failed to qualify for the quarters.
Bet Ronnie wished he had stayed with us. Becks got a great reception.

Quick quesion for u, why the hell didnt they play Gatusso, that man is a tank in midfield. One of the best defensive midfielders and one i really admire.

Well most know im a football fan aka soccer. So i just wanted to start the thread to see what other euro fans we had on this site. (i know im one week late)

My SN says it all for who i support, i know we will need a lot of luck this year though. RM WILL NOT WIN THE CL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even with all the signings they will probably make it to final four at best.

I think teams that might win is Barca, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern, and i hope by some act of God us.. LOL. As long as inter gets there asses whopped im fine.

Well in my thread opener you can see i said RM would not win. And 3 out of my 4 picks are still in it. Not bad?

ManU fans sorry to burst your bubble but just because you beat Milan doesnt mean you will have a chance at winning the CL.

You have a great player in Ronney but your defense couldnt handle Messi, Ibra, Robben, Drogba, etc.

Gattuso has a good 30 min in him a game thats all. Watch HL of the first derby game between inter and us and you can see when he is tired and angry he can ruin a game all by himself.

No one said that beating Milan would mean winning the whole thing? Or maybe they did and I missed it. I don't rate Milan that much. In fact Beckham was their best player last night when he finally came on.

On a good day Utd can beat any team as they prove year in and year out. The frustration comes on the days they seem to be out to lunch. Anyone knocking Utd is risking looking stupid.

If Drogba can stay on his feet long enough he can prove a handful for any team but Rooney is more consistent and doesn't have to do the Italian/Spanish crap that gives footy the bad name it has over this neck of the woods falling over and pretending he's been killed to get players carded. It is possible to fall to get the foul and not act as if you've been clubbed.

Park is a little dyno who is just getting better and better but I agree they need to get another consistent striker and a couple of decent spares in defense. Berbatov is just waaaay too inconsistent although he definitely falls into the "incredible when he's on form" category. Unfortunately, "on form" isn't often enough.

But I say again write them off at your peril. I hear it every year about mid-season and just laugh.

I'm with you on that one SoreHead. Everyone was laughing when Ronaldo went to RM, the good ol saying "where are the goals going to come from" kept getting repeated.

If UTD keep the back four injury free that we've had for the last five or six games it should be an interesting end to the season.
I really hope we get Barcelona next round, i think we'd do them over two legs, as long as Fletcher is in midfield.

BTW anyone see Messi's 3 goals the other day, he's a genius.

Were you around during the group stages? It seems doubtful that Inter will beat Barcelona, given that Barcelona has all their main players.

They got revenge for 99 in 02.

Still can't believe we didnt progress, 3-0 up an all. What a cracking goal though by Robben.
Felt sorry for the young lad at right back, he'll no doubt learn alot from that.

I can't see anyone beating Barca even if Utd had got through i wouldn't of been confident.
I guess we'll see how good the "Special One" is very soon.
