welcoming myself to the 5 community.

Hi everyone ! I am currently a 335i owner. I have a deposit on an 08 528i, AW/black, premium/coldweather/navi... Im in the process of selling my 335 so that i can go pick up the new car! Just wanted to hear some feedback on the 528. I know i am downgraded on power, but i feel like im upgrading in every other department... Any complaints or concerns i should know about ?

thanks guys.

HA! I have the same questions! I own a E90 335i and should be picking up a
535i this Friday. I drove a 530XI once and it was a nice creamy ride! The bumps in the city should definitely be a little easier to take with 5.

I came off a 325i for a 2008 535i. Its a dream car. I grin from ear to ear every time I drive it. You will love your 528i - smooth, roomy, comfortable and still with a kick, you'll be surprise how balanced it is (drove the 528 as well).

You are definitely downgrading in power. The 5 is definitely a larger car. I just traded my '06 330i for a CPO '09 550i this past year and I immediately noticed the size when driving. It's a more solid and refined feel compared to the 3-series. I have driven a 328i loaner but never a 528i. From what I've read on some posts on here the 528 may feel underpowered due to the size and weight. You will be getting better gas mileage though I also like the interior of the 5-series better. It has more of a luxury feel to it. Your post didn't mention if you had the sport package. The sport seats in my 550i are very comfortable.
