Question PC Guru Help Needed...Removing Trojan

so my bros comp got a trojan the other day and ive been trying to fix it and i can't. it is trojan.generic with some numbers.

my main antivirus is f-secure so i did a full system scan and the trojan was still there. next i did a full scan with malwarebytes and still the trojan was there. finally i did a full system scan with spyware doctor and still nothing.

Yeah I know I was just speaking in generalities.

Best solution: pull your hard drive, hook it to another computer but don't boot from it, run AVG scan, spyware S&D to remove all problems. Then reboot into safe mode, stop system restore and delete your old profiles. Most viruses use System Restore to re-insert themselves into your system.
