Gotta love when a good eatery opens down the street.

New place about a mile or so away. Had an awesome ribeye with a great Malbec and a very tasty dark chocolate mousse for dessert. Wifey had a delicious chicken-over-pasta dish. We'll be well known regulars at this place. Never would have thought such a great place would open in this boonie town.

One thing that has always made me envious about folks who live in big cities is the choice of great places to eat. When we go to NYC, we *plan* every meal so we take advantage of the great restaurants. It's awesome to have a really good place so close to home. I just hope it survives here.
