1Ds MkIII - Why so Cheap?
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pho/1303516011.html
I could go on and on about the weirdest "deals" you can find on Craigslist but if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. What could possibly be wrong with this camera that makes it so...affordable? A new one from B&H costs $6,900. Could it be stolen? Box, manuals, and cables could be easily bought from eBay to make it look as if they actually own it. Shutter count isn't stated, nor is the date of purchase and any defects. Guess the only way to find out is ask EDIT: NVM! MkIIIs have a ton of serious flaws. I'm taking my chances even if this particular one is fine. Last edited by TWiTCHY; 08-03-2009 at 02:36 PM.. |

Yeah, I'm not even sure I'll keep checking CL for high end Nikon glass or accessories. One guy wanted to trade his brand new 70-200 f/2.8 for Microsoft software. Not in and of itself a scam necessarily, except he wanted software with a street value of $5,000 for his street value $1,800 lens.... Way too imbalanced.
