In Houston, you can't even park in these loading areas while you're in your car waiting for you friend to come down from his building. I got a ticket.

Happened to me in NYC before....the parking description sign was half way down the street and no marking on the curb....and i saw meters on the street....after dinner i found out the parking ticket was 135 bucks!!!
