Searching for old (archived) threads?

I made a post earlier today asking this question and it apparently got deleted for some reason, so I'll ask it again here:

Is there a way to search for older threads?

On the normal search it will only list up to 500 posts.
And if you search by date it only allows you to search back 1 year.

So how can I search for a post that's more than a year old and posted more than 500 posts ago?

Thanks

There is a button in the very bottom right corner of the main page. http://www.e90post.com/forums/archive/index.php

I hope this helps.

the search doesn't work for off-topic section threads. Admins please look into this. there is a thread labeled "official boredom thread" in the OT but when you search for it, does not appear. It's the same for other threads when searching by title

Garage List
In the search menu click on

Find posts from --> "A year ago"

and then change "and newer" to "and older"

e90post member 'Blake' just told me about this trick using google. ill use 'the official boredom thread' as an example.

you simply type the title of the thread youre looking for followed by 'site:e90post.com'

Wow, I almost forgot I posted this thread.

Thanks for the tips, but I still can't find a thread I started quite some time ago.
I think I titled it "The official I can't sleep thread"

Any ideas where it went?
