I think i would get a 530 over a 335
I know some people would say its comparing apples to oranges. But for the prices, and the lease deals, I think I would and probably WILL lease a 530 over a 335. I just built two real nice cars on bmwusa.com and the 530 was cheaper. now dont get me wrong. i like the 335. and i think its an AWESOME choice for most people. but there are a couple of reasons i think i would pick the 530 over 335. i dont want to go from a 06 325 to an 08 335 sedan that looks exactly the same. i wanna feel like im "upgrading" or at least switching it up. so the coupe becomes a good option cause it would look and feel a lot different. so that basically gives me the option of the 335 coupe of the 530 sedan. the 530 appears to be cheaper. and i always seem to perfer sedans...
Just rambling. i dont know why im thinking so much about my next car. i still have like 10 months left in my lease.

They are about to change the 5 series styling. You will be stuck with an outdated model. The new 5 looks much like the e90 in the front and the e92 in the rear.

So you want to feel "upgraded"... ok
How does an extra 100 horsepower, and accelerating smoother than sex, sound? I love the e60 5 series too. they're great. And if you're not an aggressive driver, but DO feel the need to carry more people or shit, get the 530. If you drive hard, get the 335i. You will feel post-coital (like you feel after sex) everytime you get out of it. Plus, you'll get some cool stuff like real time traffic monitoring. You're on a 3 series site. don't expect many people to try to sell you on the 5. Matt |

yup i would get a 530i too, i absolutely love everything bout it: handling, looks, space and comfort. i dont really like how the new 5 series look, prefer the current e60 looks. its just my personal preference

I'd prefer getting the 550, even with the bigger price tag. That big 4.8L engine is amazing and really moves that car.

i like the 5 series but what made BMW well known is because of the 3series thats their bread and butter and the quality is better than the 5er. IMO

I dont know if its just me or not, but by my observations the higher the series, the older the driver
