Rear jacking point?

I understand that this is a 6 series, but the e60 and e63 share a variety of similarity’s. So I am just trying to see if anyone with an e60 can help me.

Hi I’ve recently purchased some Eichbach Lowering Springs for my E63 630i. However upon inspection I had realised that their isn’t a designated rear mid jacking point.

I think I’ve heard people use the diffs but honestly I’m not confidant that their is a suitable jacking location on the dif
without it getting damaged.

If the diff is the only alternative, what are some things that I can do to strengthen the sturdiness of the jack and the diff?

Images below is the shape and location of the dif.

Correct,

Just use some wood to form a protective layer between the jack head and the diff. However if your diff dushing are gone you will tear them further up. So keep in mind!
