Difference Between N55 Charge Pipe Part Number -03 and -04 for Auto 435I Coupe?

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know the difference between the charge pipe part numbers,
1871 7604033-03 and 1871 7604033-04?

I live in CA and my smog is due by the end of this month. I've purchase two charge pipes (one from a BP user and the other from another site).

Unfortunately, it's the first time my charge pipe broke so I didn't think there was a difference between manual and automatic charge pipe. Long behold, I purchased my first charge pipe and didn't realize it was for a manual (mines auto).

I came here a purchased a second one from a BP user (awesome guy) more than a week ago and finally decided to put the part on. For some reason it's going in the throttle but not all the way (unable to push in the C-clamp). I’ve tried so hard to muscle the pipe to the throttle without any luck. It fits, but it’s loose.

I've noticed the charge pipe side that goes to the throttle from the C-clamp to the end of the pipe is a little longer (1871 7604033-04) when compared to my original and manual charge pipe (1871 7604033-04). The manual fits perfectly but man, I've spent so many hours trouble-shooting the pipes back and forth – attaching the pipe to the throttle and intercooler should be the easy part.

I am hoping someone can confirm there is no difference between the charge pipe part -03 and -04 and that I just need to push it harder to the throttle.
