Frozen Paint Light Scratch Correction
Just got my M8CC after its 11k miles journey via ship from Dingolfing. However during the journey it got a couple of light scratches under the door handles and on the trunk. The car is scheduled to go for PPF on Wednesday and its at the dealership garage until then to make sure no further scratches occur.
However, any tips on how to correct the existing scratches on the Frozen paintwork? Images below. https://res.cloudinary.com/dude-lemo...486_zt904d.jpg |

Only way to fix frozen paint is to repaint the whole panel. I would just live with it.

Yep, frozen paint is one of those paints that you can't buff, or use touch paint on. The entire panel would need to be repainted, and this is why so many people after buying frozen paint, will tell you not to get it. And if you get anything on the paint, you need to wipe it off immediate like bird poop. many choose to get gloss paint, and have it wrapped in matt PPF.

As mentioned you will need to paint entire panels which I wouldn’t recommend doing for these minor scratches, most especially on a brand new car.
Just do allover Xpel Stealth PPF and hopefully those scratches won’t be too visible. |

i have an X1 with pure grey frozen. i bought all the opaque products from swissvax and they are great. the wax seems to hide very light scratches. you could try that. i would recommend the wash and the prewax cleaner too.
