Willing to buy E60, is it worth it?

As the title says, I want to buy a E60, but I also really like the E92 BUT I've seen on mobile.de that E60 545i are WAAAAY less expensive. I've found one for 14k euro, with 43.700km, and many others for like 8k with 150/120.000 km.

Why is that? Is because they ain't hyped as the E92? Or because they are not reliable?

My guesses:

I get the impression that E6x has a reputation for being more problematic than E9x. On top of that, the 545i has the N62 V8, which has many problems of its own.

One major reason why E9x is valuable is that it's the last 3-Series with hydraulic power steering and a focus on being involving to drive. The same is true of E6x, but I'm sure it doesn't help the E6x as much because 5-Series buyers don't tend to care about it as much.

E9x has a LOT more options for mods. Most of the M3's suspension parts can be fitted with little or no trouble, and the aftermarket is very robust. The same is not true for the E60.
