What are these codes 9C79 and 9C55?
Hello All,
ISTA is showing a few codes on our 530xi and I would appreciate your help as to exactly what they are? 1. 009C79 IHKA: Water valve, left 2. 009C55 IHKA: Fogging sensor *I know one of the heater/ac valves is stuck, according to the Dealership, because nothing but hot air will blow out of the floorboard. It doesn't matter how you set the AC controls, you cannot get cool air to blow out the floorboard which is fine for winter time, but not for summer time. So, is that the 9C79 error and how hard is it to fix it? *Does the 9C55 error have something to do with the windshield rain sensor? Thanks, Ralph |

Came here to see if there was a response to this. I also have these two error codes, in addition to 9C7A (Water valve, right). I have a slew of other errors popping up as well. I'm taking my 525i into an independent bimmer shop this weekend for a full inspection. I'll let you know how it goes. 😏

009C55 IHKA: Fogging sensor is located in the rear view mirror base. Not expensive but have a big effect how the automatic ventilation system works.
Bit trick to replace but can be done. instruction and info: https://5series.net/forums/e60-discu...nstall-152419/ |
