Bootmod license transfer help

Quick question , so I sold my car to a dealer with a stage 1 tune (b58). The person that bought it found my socials and would like my map. I know there’s the transfer license option but he claims it won’t work because it’s the same vin. So he wants me to just change the email and switch the password and send him that so he has access to it.

Is that fine ?

I want to buy another bootmod for my current car later on (s55) would doing something like that affect anything or no ?
