Qtz mvts AREN'T expensive. Mass produced with technology

Under $100 EVEN for the jeweled versions

These are all facts
you keep launching generalizing statements as facts, I prove them wrong, and then you say....yeah, but those are exceptions
You know....keep proving you wrong and suddenly you knew it all along....as never seen on the internet

Saying something like "they are just addressing the needs of their client base"....every watch that is sold is made in the light of that!

I bet a Patek E23 isn't under $100
And then there's the citizen 0100....I think they produced something like 1000 or 1500 or so of them....Not really mass produced I'd say....and certainly not cheap.
I bet your next post will be like that you knew that all along...

And since you seem to struggle:
Definition of a watch (merriam-webster):
6: a portable timepiece designed to be worn (as on the wrist) or carried in the pocket.

Says nothing about having or not having a battery
Of course you're free to invent your own language

Guido, you're right. Silly of me to share some of MY view points garnered over a 42 yr career as a retail/wholesale jewelry and watch biz. What was I thinking!!!

Wear my Apple Watch Ultra during the week, and Omega Planet Ocean Deep Black on the weekends. Feels weird not having a watch on my wrist after wearing one for so long.

I got lucky after Christmas last year and was able to pick this Batgirl from an AD at retail.

Also lucky enough to find a new Blue/Z Green crystal Milgauss from a overseas dealer about a year ago.

A good watch year and 2024 is a good BMW year - My 2025 M440 GC is due in about 60 days

I used to wear various G-Shocks. Then, I tired Amazfit Trex, Google Pixel Watch and now I'm wearing a Huawei Watch GT2. Did a few comparisions during my runs. The Watch GT has the best heart rate monitor and step counter but the Trex had amazing 2 month battery life.
