Arrow 🚗💨 My BMW Mileage Milestone! 💨🚗

Just hit a major milestone with my beloved BMW F20 M140i from April 2017 — crossing 135.000 kilometers on the odometer! 🎉

This car has been an absolute workhorse, taking me through all kinds of journeys, from daily commutes to epic road trips. Whether it's the smooth highways or winding back roads, my BMW has never let me down. The engine still purrs like a dream, and the handling is as sharp as ever.

For anyone wondering, regular maintenance and a little TLC go a long way. I've always made sure to stick to the service schedule, use quality parts, and of course, give it the occasional wash.

Would love to hear from other BMW owners out there — what's the highest mileage you've ever hit on your ride? Any tips for keeping these machines running strong? Drop your stories below!

I am around 240,000 km on one of my N63TU 650xi. Treat her well and she will treat you well! And, of course, hope that you get lucky to get a car that was built correctly at the factory.

Lovely! Did you get yours original? 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine right? The N63TU typically produces more power than its predecessor the original N63.

Interesting fact: Introduced by BMW in 2008, the N63 engine is notable for being one of the first to use a "hot-vee" configuration, where the turbochargers are placed inside the V of the engine, rather than on the outside.

Correct, it is the 4.4L V8 "hot-vee" because of the design and because the turbos run hot! This engine can be problematic for many reasons. If you take care of it and get a little lucky, it can last as long as any other engine on the market!

Great! Hope it can last long and long. Just reading and learning more about engines. The N63TU continues the hot-vee design of the original N63, which places the turbochargers between the cylinder banks. This design helps reduce turbo lag by shortening the distance the exhaust gases need to travel to reach the turbochargers.
