Does this muffler look normal ?

Is it okay for the muffler to have some rust on it ? I just moved from Keene NH to Texas and I just noticed it was like that. Definitely didn’t happen over night but I’m very curious about this.

Any feedback would be great.

Stock mufflers always look like that after a while. Tons of heat and weathering.
