Where are these stolen cars ending up? Straight in a container to Africa?

As an aside on the faraday pouch thing.
Don't modern BMW comfort access keys stop transmitting after 15-30 second if not moved?
My current 2023 car does after less than 30 secs and apparently earlier model car years do as well.
I checked by placing the key next to the car, waited 30 secs then tried to unlock the drivers door and it wouldn't open.

Even when the keys stop transmitting only a faraday pouch with both keys in them will stop the thieves amplifying the signal to unlock and put the car into drive mode.

Keys at the front door.

Benelli M4 in the next room loaded with alternating 3" magnum buckshot and 1oz slug loads. Woot.

There is no signal to amplify and transmit once the (later gen) keys have been stationary for ~20 secs, the key battery disconnects and the transmitter has no power....thats the whole point of the system.
Use a faraday cage as well if you like, but its pointless.

This is the same after market system for keys without the build in battery switch off system.
