E60 No dash or Ignition

Hi all,

I’ve just purchased an E60 525d as a non runner.

There is no dash, no idrive and no ignition. It doesn’t even register that there has been a fob inserted in the slot

The interior lights work, so do the headlights but the windows won’t open. No radio either. The key will unlock and lock the car, and also open the boot.
I have checked the fuses, swapped out battery but no luck thus far.

Any ideas what could be at fault at all?
