Ceramic coating wheels and caliper

Any recommendation of DIY product that works well and easy to apply? Something that can be done without necessarily taking the wheels off...

Unless you are a magician, you will need to remove your wheels to do the calipers...

jokes aside, I've used Adams UV coating and it seemed to work pretty well.

Armour Detail wheel coating. It's very easy and forgiving to apply but also quite good. I've tried 3 or 4 and this is the best I've used. Actual high solids unlike some. You can't really do the caliper with the wheel on though. Maybe just the front face if you are careful.

My go to DIY ceramic coating is ARMOR SHIELD IX DIY CERAMIC COATING KIT

It's best to take the wheels off. Actually, I wouldn't recommend ceramic coating with the wheels on. They need to be properly prepped anyhow and you cannot do that with the wheels on. Do it properly or not at all.

As for the product, GTechniq CSL + GTechniq EXOv5 + GTechniq C2V3. Each quarter use Gyeon Q²M WetCoat. It's a simple spray on, rinse off. You can accomplish this without removing the wheels.

Absolutely take the wheels off or have someone else do it (it's not hard, and some consider it fun).

I have used several products, and they all do the same thing IF YOU DO IT PROPERLY. That means proper applying, removal, and letting the item sit for 2 weeks before you let it get wet.

Any from the reputable brands will give good protection. If budget allows a product like Gyeon Wetcoat is such a great solution for simpler wheel cleaning.

Kamikaze Stance Rimcoat with a sacrificial layer of Polish Angel Supersport PTFE which you can top up easily every 3 months or so.

Used a million of these products, but this combo is awesome. The Kamikaze needs 24 hours in the dry while it cures - best to take the wheels off.

Hell, I just use what's left in my CQuartz UK3 bottle and it works fantastic.

I swap season wheels so all I need is 6-8 months of easier cleaning. It makes them look better when coated as a plus.

I'd considered doing this for a long time but is there really a benefit?

My paint is coated and I can't get away with contactless wash if I want it completely clean. I imagine wheels would be even worse so I'd think there's no reason to coat them if you're going to have to maintain the same cleaning process?
