Leaves inside M2C Grill by Radiator
Hi guys,
There are leaves and debris inside the grill and right in front of the radiator of my M2C from windy days. Does anyone know how I can clean them up without removing the bumper or grille? I tried a vacuum but it barely fits into the grill so I can't rotate it around.... |

Shop vac plus compressed air will remove some of the debris. However, removing the bumper is the only way to remove all debris. Some people have installed a mesh with much smaller openings and secured it to the bumper mesh with zip ties. The much smaller open mesh keeps out all leaves and even smaller debris. If done right, you barely notice the smaller mesh. Another advantage is it does a better job of keeping debris/rocks from damaging the radiator and various coolers. Quite a few G87 M2 owners have done this mod. Don’t use a really dense small mesh because it can limit the air flow to the radiators/coolers.
