Whenever it’s a water based dressing I first apply Chemical Guys Silk shine protectant on the tire after a good wash.
If the weather is gonna be dry, I prefer VRP for the tires. However if I really want them to shine better than OEM or it may rain, I go with Meguiars Endurance Tire Gel. Love this stuff. |

On low profile tires tire foam seems to make a mess so I prefer a spray on product. Aero Cosmetics rubber care is good, there are many spray or gel products that work well. I prefer a matte look on my 330i, but on trucks and SUVs the wet look is nice.

I've use quite a few tire foam, dressing, gel, spray or whatever over the last 40 year. I figure they were all about the same until someone gave me a bottle of this. It has worked really nicely. I don't have to reapply it for several weeks. It doesn't have the wet or glossy look, but the black is a very understated solid black color on the tire. I use a dirty rag or sponge to apply it..
