Here is a interesting question. If you spend the $5,000.00 or more on PPF and ceramic coating on your BMW and it's totaled would the insurance company cover that or is it considered a customer aftermarket installation?
Does this fall under: Custom parts and equipment coverage (CPE) is an optional endorsement. |

On our 2024 X5MC, we had PPF (XPel Stealth) on the front, and both rows of doors. We skipped the rea trunk and quarter panels. Seemed like a good balance.

This was a comprehensive claim and my insurance company covered not only the repair of the trunk’s paint finish but also paid for the removal and the installation of new PPF. |

That price is the most expensive place you can find. Perhaps that includes correction and ceramic coat and interior ceramic and rims and tints. Then it’s just a little high not nuts.
If it’s a special car to you wrap it up all over. If it’s a Daily driver just the front and other bits you mentioned. |
