X5 2003 - Lights board serial number
Good afternoon everyone,
I am having an issue with my X5 2003 i3.0 American edition, basically the brakes lights always stay on while the car is started, the thing is, the electrician has put a wrong lights board and it kinda ruined the whole thing.. Just incase I was not clear, the board I am talking about is located near the passenger next to the driver, on the right side where you place your feet. This is the one I have right now (the one I believe is wrong) Could you guys help me to identify the correct one so I buy it? I do not have an official BMW repairshop here so it's a bit complicated.. Thank you! Last edited by roun512; 12-04-2023 at 07:13 AM.. Reason: Added a question |

Yes you're correct, LCM. I'm seeing four options for what I believe is the LCM in Realoem:
For vehicles with Xenon Light =Yes 04 Light and check-control module 1 10/2002 10/2003 61356961142 $523.67 For vehicles with Xenon Light S522A=No 04 Light and check-control module 1 61356961140 $523.67 For vehicles with Adaptive Headlights and Xenon Light S524A=Yes S522A=Yes 04 Light and check-control module 1 61356961140 $523.67 For vehicles with Adaptive Headlights and Xenon Light S524A=Yes S522A=No 04 Light and check-control module 1 61356961140 $523.67 Which one of those are correct I couldn't tell you, BMW will often supersede part numbers so you may pull a used one from another car that is correct but has a different part number. Keep in mind that LCM requires coding, it's not plug and play. good luck. |
