E60/or any car with HeadUp Display question
Sorry, I know what it is E9X forums, but I think someone here have E60/E63/E64/E66 with HeadUp...
Entry: I have E60 550's with HeadUp. I have 171mm height (sorry, don't know how to tell correctly in US-format), so its normal height, not so small and not very big... With relax sitting I practically can't see nothing at HeadUp display... With strong sitting, with head at top of roof - I can see all information... So, a question is so: It is possible to ajust image projection of HeadUp?? My dealer told me what it can't, but he does not call to anybody, so I want to have confirmation... Sorry for my speaking...

2Fed,
The HUD can be adjusted a few degrees up or down and can be re-focused. Your Center should be able to do this for you. Hope this helps. Best Regards, JoeS |

on that particular model. A BMW special tool is required. so dealer has to do it.
the CID must be taken out to access the adjustment nuts. and its not any regular nuts. to be honest its a 18mm outer with the inner adjustment nut to be a torx scew(unknown size). and its well within the dash area. not recommended for a DIY. bc the adjustments can bring the image out of wack.

, I AM IMPRESSED THAT YOU CAN DRIVE A BIMMER WITH THAT KIND OF HEIGHT.
OMG!!! THIS IS F***ING HILARIOUS... OH IT IS ACTUALLY 6.9 INCH TO BE ACCURATE. THAT MAKES YOU A LITTLE BIT TALLER, IF IT MAKES ANY DIFFERENT. LOL... I THINK YOU MEANT TO SAY 177 CM, WHICH IS ABOUT 5.8' |
