PPF dilemma…

What to get some quick thoughts on this. Just picked up my BSM M3 Comp and am having full stealth PPF done on it this week. My current dilemma is if I should wrap the carbon roof with clear PPF or the stealth PPF like the rest of the car. Not sure why I didn't think of this till the night before dropping her off… but guess that's just how it works sometimes lol. Would love to hear thoughts from others! Thanks

I would have them apply a test piece onto the roof in both stealth and gloss PPF, and see what you like. Personally, I would go with gloss. The cars that are painted in Frozen paint, all have a gloss roof.

Stealth on all BSM, clear on all non-BSM.

How does putting stealth PPF on the carbon roof give it more of an OEM look? The OEM look is clear coat over the carbon fiber.

Or am I misunderstanding?

Mis-read the original post. Thought he had a sunroof and no Carbon roof. DEFINITELY clear PPF in that case. This shouldn't even be a question being that it has a carbon roof lol.

Thanks for the responses! Going clear! That's what I had originally planned, but had a last minute bout of second guessing myself. Thank you for bringing me back from the edge! Lol

What about your front? I'm doing 15 on sides and rear but struggling between 35 and 50 for windshield.

This. It’s exactly what I did, and it looks amazing. Perfect balance of satin and gloss.

It's all about what you like and how you like in my opinion. My view as a graphic artist is to always have contrast to enhance the look. I would go with stealth on the painted surface, and keep the carbon shine with the clear.
