Keyless Entry on Z4

My parents have purchased a brand new 2023 BMW Z4. Do new z4’s come with keyless entry? At present they need to press the button on the key fob but can’t work out how to unlock via keyless entry. Any help will be appreciated.

This should have been covered by the salesperson as part of the delivery walkthrough.

I don't know about the UK market Z4, but would ASSume by now that all BMW's with key fob ignitions have sensors behind the door handles to automagically unlock the central locking just like my 8-year-old i3 does.

This thread smells like a retro-edit SEO spambot first post, hence the waiting for the original post to be edited.....

It’s a genuine question. Having looked at their car it seems that it doesn’t come as standard. It seems it requires “Comfort Access” to do this. Does anyone know if this can be fitted retrospectively?

Sounds like a question best asked in the Z4 section of this forum:

If there's button then it's remote unlock/lock. I wouldn't recommend comfort access in UK as easy for thieves with relay amplifier to steal the car, even when it's in your garage.
