Great job Lucis, Sapphire should be running 8-sec on prep'd drag strip. Crazy considering 5400 lbs weight...

That video was great. Two of those cars are great.

Carwow reviewed the McMurtry and did a 7.9. It was in Goodwood trim and it hit the 150 mph limiter in 1/8 mile and rode the remainder of the test without accelerating and still broke 8 seconds.

The title should be corrected to "The world's quickest cars we could get for this video". EV hypercars like Rimac Nevera, Pininfarina Battista etc. are significantly quicker. And then there is that crazy McMurtry car...

Love these Hagerty/Cammisa videos - such good writing and production.

Regardless of drag race results, the type of person buying a Chiron wouldn't even consider a Tesla or a Lucid. It's an actual piece of art.

LOL, yeah…no. The two Chiron owners I know personally have Teslas. Christian von Koenigsegg has also stated that 100% of Koenigseggs sold in the last 2 years have gone to households with Teslas. He himself dailys a Model S.

People who live in flyover states have the best opinions on Teslas.

I didn't say anything about second/third/etc cars lol.

I said someone who is buying a Chiron would not even consider Tesla/Lucid/etc as an option. It's like shopping for a Ferrari and considering a Honda Odyssey.

Let's dial back the EV sensitivity.
