e60 pre-lci - CCC / M-ASK upgrade for Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple Carplay options

I’ve been looking for a solution for having Bluetooth audio (music) integrated into a CCC / M-ASK e60 2005 unit and haven’t found any particular easy options.

Then came across units that have options for Android Auto / Apple Car play – looking for any advice and if anyone has experience with any of these systems?

I’m also interested to know if anyone knows anyone that could fit one of these in (or nearby to) Cornwall (in England / United Kingdom / UK). Or failing that, how likely it would be for me to be able to do this myself with little experience of this kind of thing!
