However, here's why to me, LeBron will never be the GOAT: First, unlike Jordan, he didn't constantly switch teams and build super teams to win championships. There's something to be said about Jordan winning three in a row, twice with a similar team over the course of 8 years. Second, anyone who has to constantly proclaim they are a GOAT, isn't. Jordan still isn't proclaiming it. Neither is Brady, neither did Schumacher nor does Hamilton. They let their game talk and let the fans make that determination. |

Wrong guy!! I could go on but what is the point? I do have facts to back up what i say, just like you may have facts to back up yours. In my eyes he is the GOAT, and there is nothing that could be said to change that. Jordan is my 1B though

I did, however it did not show me nothing different than i already knew. I grew up watching Jordan. That shit proved nothing to me.
Not sure why I even posted in this thread because anyone that thinks lebron sucks in basketball, is lying to themselves. |

There’s nothing I could contribute argument wise which hasn’t already been stated, but I’d take MJ over Lebron and it’s not even close.
The bottom line for me is, my life is on the line and we’re down by 1 with 10 seconds left. There is simply no way in hell I’d ever take Lebron over MJ in that situation. One guy gets the ball and tells everyone to get the f out of the way. The other guy is looking to facilitate first and maybe take the shot second. MJ GOAT! Lebron certainly doesn’t suck however, haha that’s just a ridiculous thing to say. He’s one of the greatest of all time. |

lebron is top 3 greatest of all time. he just lacks the hunger and mid-range game that kobe and MJ had.
the mid-range is a lost art in the nba. And thats why you dont want lebron with the last shot, because his mid-ranger and 3 are ugly |

Lebron better not be a GM post playing career as being a GM during his playing career has reared its ugly head. Also, GOAT’s aren’t under 500 when it counts.

I'm probably going to get blasted for this but in addition to my earlier thoughts, I thought LeBron was going to be better than he turned out to be. Yes, he has consistency and staying power, but I expected his stats to be even better than they are when he joined the league. The way he's built, he should dominate harder. Jordan was smaller. Kobe was smaller, but they had arguably better stats, and could take over games in a way LeBron doesn't despite his physical prowess. He's just not a killer like the other two were.

It's 2 different eras......Jordan would average 40 a game in this NBA today with the rules and defense.

Lebronics gets the majority of the blame here for the Lakers disastrous season. He put this team together but the first thing he should do is get rid of AD as he cannot be counted on. Plus, I don’t want to hear again that AD is a top 5-7 player in the NBA. Top players in this league aren’t part timers. LeBron will dodge a bullet as Westbrook will opt out as he’ll get a max deal somewhere else said no one ever.

LA sportscaster last night was RAGGING on Lebron, saying he and the regular newscaster could probably run faster than all the "talent" Lebron brought to the team this year.

1) He can take the time he would have spent in the playoffs and use it to promote his GOAT status, brand in general, and with whatever time he has left over, he can recruit his team for next year run for the Ring. 2) Since the Lakers didn't make the playoffs, there is zero chance LeBron will lose in the Finals like he's done so many times before. He doesn't want to add to that non GOAT-like statistic. |

Do you think that Lebron is watching the playoffs? I can see him now, "I can do that, why didn't they do that...". As we've all hear, would have been, could have been, should have been.
I remember living in Chicago and going to the "Old Barn" watching the Knicks and Bulls first round playoff series, it was a great time. Too bad I moved before they broke through.

I just don't understand why no one ever brings up shooting... like joel embidd and jokic are top of the MVP race but you cannot trust them for the last shot, because they can't get themselves open AND shoot well. They are too big and clumsy...Dirk is an exception but that man had a filthy jumper. they both go hand in hand, get open and shot percentage.
Kobe and MJ were killers from the mid-range and sometimes the 3 Brons jumper has always been suspect tbh. Def an amazing specimen and great at basketball, but the only thing missing is a silky smooth jumper, which he doesn't have. people forget about the mid range too much in the nba. thats why people like ben simmons has been deluding fans and owners for years. a diehard sixers fan...the second I knew he CHOOSE not to shoot he will be a major liabilty at his postion. Shit markelle with his busted ass form still shot. you gotta shoot your shot. |

People that actually know anything about basketball haven't forgotten about the mid-range shot. All the truly elite players have a mid-range shot.
Kawhi, PG, DeMar, CP3 (you know he's going to the right elbow and he still gets there), Jimmy Buckets, etc. |
