There is only 1 superman in the league and thats Westbrook. He is not human. Lebron is nothing without an all-star cast around him.

Westbrook is a talent unlike no other for the first 42 minutes. However, I wouldn’t want the ball near him during the final 6 minutes of the game as for some reason his decision making is costly.

I'd have to agree with the end of game decision-making but talent and physically, pound for pound the most gifted athlete in the NBA.

LeFlop didn’t develop of mid range game to finish his career. He will not dominate later in age like Jordan or even Kobe.

Who’s Lebron going to trade from the Lakers to get:

Steph Curry
Damian Lizard
Kyle Lowry
Luka Doncic

With AD made of glass and no draft capital, it’ll be tough for Lebronics.

Remember, he needs all the help he can get.

So who doesn’t expect it to be LeBron vs Durant come June? Only way stopping these two teams from meeting would be injuries. LeBron has Westbrook to run through brick walls to get to the basket when he and AD are taking a knee but again, Westbrook in the 4th quarter will make LeBron pull his scalp.

It doesn't make sense. Lebron and westbrook have similar offensive styles. One is just alot heavier so the question is who gets the ball. I will say that if Westbrook does not work out, Lebron will try to snake his way on a team with curry somehow. Lebron can't carry a team by himself and is a bonafide 250 pound freight-train cry-baby.

LeBron will probably take lots of time off this upcoming season so Westbrook can go crazy. Carmelo has changed since his Knick days as he’s welcomed the 6th-8th man roll and will be a good spark, plus they got playoff Rondo back as well. But as you’ve said, when it’s crunch time and when they have to be on the court at the same time late in the 4th quarter, Laker fans will have to put the finger in the dike and pray.

I could see Curry wanting out if the Warriors don’t advance deep into the playoffs and LeBronics will be courting him definitely. But they should move on from AD as he’s fragile.

Lebron stopped playing defense in 2013, his last all-defense selection. GOAT's dominate both sides of the ball.

A lot of people agree with you that James is the GOAT. Based on his personal career stats, its a toss up between between James and Jordan. For me, the difference in finals performance will always put Jordan first. James said in the six finals his teams lost, the better team won. Jordan never had to say that.

The trouble for James now is no matter how well he does, he cannot erase his horrible finals record. He knows that. That's why he is so frustrated he walks off the court before the game is over. I think history will show James as second best. Still great, just not the greatest.

Its hard to bring up the ring argument because of Bill Russel. You can put it this way, Lebron went to 9 finals and Jordan only went to 6. The problem with these stats and numbers is that you can cherry pick which stats fit the narrative.

I like to listen to actual NBA players make these comparisons and they will all say Jordan and Kobe are better than Lebron.

I don't think it's hard at all to bring up the ring argument. I was a kid in the 60s and a LA Lakers fan and I watched Bill Russell and the Celtics dominate the Lakers in the finals over and over again. The Lakers had great teams in the 60s. Bill Russell and the Celtics were just plain dominant and earned all their rings. The point of the sport is to win.

Bottom line: The rings are the ultimate victory. By that measure, James isn't even the conversation and never will be. All the self-promotion he can muster will not change that absolute fact.

I totally agree with you. I'm just saying that people say Jordan is better than Lebron, simply because of the rings. When in truth, Russell is better than Jordan by that logic. At the end of the day, a Championship is based on team effort. Not only by the product you put on the court, but by the scouts, trainers, coaches, everyone that makes the team run.

If we were to simply compare players, we may have to consider their position. How do you compare a true center to a PG? Their styles of play would be different and their stats would show this. Also, how do we compare players from different eras as well? We all know the game has transitioned through each generation. Some people have simplified it to be the person that can elevate the entire team.

I feel that it is much easier to compare Jordan to Kobe because of their styles and positions. If we were to consider Lebron a PF, then he would be competing with the likes of Duncan and we all know Duncan is better. As a center, Kareem, Olajiwan, Shaq etc would be better. A guard, well we all know Jordan wins that one.

So again, I'll defer to the NBA players. They say Kobe is better than Lebron, and Jordan is better than Kobe, so there you go.

Jordan did say that the only NBA player that could take him one and one would be Kobe.

"Because the kid stole all my moves!" - MJ.

That's about a high of an accolade as one could ever receive. Lebron is a generational talent. His court vision, his size, speed and strength are definitely incredible. He's also a good GM lol. But somethings missing.

Jordan and Kobe have story after story after story of just sheer dominance and determination and grit. I love all the Kobe stories and Jordan stories that people share. My god, I wouldn't even know where to begin and there's so many good ones.

One of my personal favorite Kobe stories is Iman Shumpert. The day he realized just how good Kobe was. He tells the story better than I ever could so I'm going to just go ahead and post the short clip.

Edit - also the DeMar Rosen story where Vince Carter told him "man, you can't wear his (Kobe's) shoes when you're guarding him!!" And how young DeMar fucked up by switching to Jordan's the next time he played Kobe and how Kobe took that, lol.
