talking BMW - problem resolved (LOL NOT WHAT YOU THINK)

God I thought I found another new feature, today my BMW started talking to me !!

twice, got into the car and it said something like "parking event noted blah blah blah" nothing in the idrive no notifications.

I got home put ISTA on it no codes, couldn't replicate it, got out banged the car while parked on the drive way nothing

So I pulled my dashcam to see if I could see anything

Bloody eck then I remembered I switched on the setting on the dashcam to monitor in parking mode, it picked up 3 events, 1 in a parking lot and 2 others where I had closed my car really loudly,

ahhh now I can sleep easier

My BMW what will it come up with next, a never ending rollarcoaster of OCD, EEK and NICEEEE VROOOOM

I've got aftermarket parking sensors installed and it always tells me "laser defense active" when I start the car. Leads to some odd stares if I have my door open when I startup. I'm sure I can turn it off but now I'm used to it.

Back in the day, these were pretty reliable. They only "talked" when needed.
