Audi R8 in showroom at NYC

Well I was in NYC this weekend and happened to pass by Audi in Manhattan. I took a picture of it. I think I want to trade my IS-F now for one of these

Here's the picture I took.

They also have this neat display that actually rotates on the ceiling on rails with Audi commercials playing.

I was too far to see. I took that outside from the window. It was really tough trying to not get any reflections in the photo from the glass. I want it soooo bad

The R8 looks nice, but if you are thinking of getting one. you should wait and get the V12 TDI model...

Two of my buddies have that car on order, but from what they have been told recently. the car is most likely not going to see North America ever.
But they put deposts in case they do, that car will be a dream!

Saw one today at the California Pizza Kitchen in downtown Palo Alto. Parked next to it!

Turbodiesel

I'd take the V8 over the TDI V12 any day of the week. I could care less about the performance

Great shot and also nice car. I think, judging from its Top Gear performance its a quality car that rivals some bigger more expensive names. For me, the condition of it, good, bumpy and clean on the outside spotless on the inside however might say something?

Yea I'm really doubting they'll make the V12 TDI, even if they do decide to make one they will be waiting for a LONG time.

My brother is first on the list for the V10 version at the dealership in ATL (put down the deposit when rumor first poped up) and they dont expect to get those in by mid 09 at the earliest..

The dealership is going to be selling all the R8's for MSRP with no markup, which is pretty unheard of now.
