Control smartphone camera remotely?
Is it only possible to control the start/stop of video and the shutter? I want something capable of zoom/focus such as a rotary thumbwheel or programable buttons. I'd even take a wired option over USB-C.
I can't find a damn thing. Just the typical Chinese bluetooth buttons in various shapes and colorings. |

So I had a Pixel and it came with headphones.
I have a S21 ultra now. Plugged the buds in and for S&G pushed the volume and pause buttons. Volume buttons act as a shutter button. So that's all i'm after. I'm kinda wondering if all usb-c headphones would act the same, as long as there's a volume control button. |

I don't know of any cameras that allow for remote zooming. Would require an electronic motor in the lens. I recently bought a DJI RS2 for my Z7ii. I've attached a gear motor that can either control aperture, focus or zoom rings on the lens.
