That brought back some memories. That is mildly accurate...about 95%. Only thing missing is the ordnance handler that arm the gun and any other forward firing ordnance on the cat.

I second that, but based on the fact that this is just a flight sim, its pretty damn close and any complains are on very high niveau, ain't?

I see you're in TX. The Fighting 99th servers are physically in Plano. I fly on that server a bunch. You should come join in some time. "Lord"

Yes! Been playing a ton of X-Plane 11 since the Vulkan beta dropped. Works quite well on my 8600k/980Ti system in VR. Probably helps that I have an Oculus Rift and nothing with higher res.

My dad was a pilot for a while but stopped after my mom made him (the whole - starting a family - thing). He was amazed to try out the flight sim. Got him set up in some of his old planes and areas he flew in.

Been flying my dad's planes to learn - Cessna 310R and a Mooney 231 - both a ton of fun to fly! I like the twin for the lack of P-factor but there's a little bit more to worry about. I've tried out some of the faster planes, like the jets and honestly got overwhelmed pretty quickly compared to the slowbois. I need more practice - they're just so fast.

chris_flies you still simming, or are you onto REAL planes now?
