Any experience with Vanmoof ebikes

I've been on the hunt for ebikes for over a year now and finally took the plunge preordering 2 X3s for the wife and I. Initially looking at the priority embark (Costco $2999), but wife is 4'11" and frame is too big. Most ebike frames are too big for her. Also didn't want to spend above 3k for an ebike. Mostly flat pleasure riding and I plan to commute to work once the Greenway is completed in my area.

Would be great to read others experience with this brand.
