No, it's definitely a huge shit show out there. Both way too many men AND women have unrealistic expectations, are not even close to self-aware, value the wrong things/qualities, won't/can't put in the effort & time required to actually build a LTR, etc etc etc these days.

This is why I don't do dinner or anything, at least on a first date, any longer. Have not in a while. I meet them somewhere local that I don't even have to drive to for a drink. If they want to also order food, cool, but they are paying for their own shit. I've walked out on many dates too (Not b/c they wanted me to buy their drink) so my drink was on them

No escapades here as of late....which is a good thing in my situation. I feel you on the headache business. I'm starting to understand how objectified women feel as sexual objects.

Side note: The young girls at the gym are starting to notice me. It makes me chuckle when I see young guys giving me dirty looks because their girlfriends are checking me out.
