Used to be in the bad habit of changing out my cars every 2-3 years then I realized how much money I was literally throwing away and decided I need to invest it better and I'm glad I learned early in my driving career. Any how to answer the question my FX35 served me for 10 years and my Touareg TDI is now into year 7 and my E92 is into year 12 and I plan the same for my F32. Take very good care of my cars so they tend to last a good amount without looking like crap...that's the key!

I usually own my cars for eight years. I had my E46 M3 for ten years. I hope to break that record with my M2.

2002 Mini Cooper S -drove it home with 5.8 miles on the odometer - now at 210K and change - but virtually everything has been refreshed / replaced not stock -now a toy. Keeping it for my daughter. She looks at sports cars Porsche etc. when we walk by - peers into the interior - and then says "Oh not a stick shift, no fun"... lol
