PPF Pricing Questions and Installation Rec's in Houston

Anyone have a good place to recommend in Houston? I'm looking for ceramic coating and possibly PPF. I found a couple places, but the one that stands out also happens to be on the high side... $8200 for paint correction, full PPF, and ceramic treatment on interior and exterior. Seems high but the more I look at it, they're using possibly the best of everything in this process:

Full Stek Dynoshield PPF

Exterior
  • Foam Bath Pre-Soak
  • Deep Clean Wheels
  • Gentle Hand Wash
  • Paint Clay Bar Decontamination
  • Paint Iron Remover Exfoliation
  • De-ionized Water Rinse
  • Detail Door Jambs
  • Polish Exhaust Tips
  • Pneumatic Air Dry
  • Exterior & Interior Glass
  • Paint Sanitation
  • Trim Masking
  • Digital Paint Inspection
  • Stage 1 Polish & Gloss Enhancement
  • Modesta P-01A Primer Polish
  • Modesta Paul Dalton Organic Base Coating
  • Modesta Paul Dalton Inorganic Top Coating
  • 6 Year Warranty
  • Infrared Thermal Curing
  • Modesta M1 Shot Sealant
  • Glass Coating on all Windows
  • Modesta Exterior Plastic Coating
  • Steam Clean Fender Well
  • Wheel Removal & Steam Cleaning Cleaning
  • Wheel Polishing
  • Modesta BC-06 Heat Resistance Coating (on all wheels, lug nuts, brake calipers and exhaust tips)
  • Modesta BC-08 Neosilica Coating on Wheel Face

Interior
  • Interior Air Purge & Blowout
  • Complete Vacuum & Dust-Off
  • Hot Water Extraction & Foam Shampoo
  • Interior Steam Clean
  • Plastic & Vinyl Disinfectant
  • Modesta LPS-01 Leather Coating
  • Modesta LPS-02 Leather Abrasive Protection
  • Nanolex Textile Fabric Protection

Funny you should mention them as that's who I was referring to. Found them just searching around google and instagram. I'm sure they do great work, but damn, $8200 is STEEP.

Did you go to them for your M5? What did you have them do? Any discounts available?

Will be trying Cavallo Auto Salon later this month. $1600/$2600 depending on if you have full clear bra or partial. No clear bra and I assume it's more - more paint correction/prep work before 2 coats of CQ Reserve I guess. Price is high but I like that way he documents his work.

That’s the other place my research has uncovered. Pretty good work he does! What is the $1600/2600 for, ceramic coating? The more I read about this Stek Dynoshield PPF the more I like about it...

$1600 if your car has total ppf on already, $2600 if your car has front partial ppf, so includes prep work, paint correction and 2 coats of cquartz reserve. I assume more $$$ if you have no ppf on car. He does Suntek ppf install too, but I had already scheduled for supposedly thicker and clearer ClearGuard Nano from a different outfit, EVS Motors, since they were doing my tint. Will let you know if I am happy with them at end of week. A little worried as they use computer pre-cut kits, which I didn't realize until I got there. The other providers I looked at like Houston-PPF seem to be more free hand custom, but they never responded to my email or phone calls.

I would highly recommend Cavallo Auto Saloon. Jason is very communicative and his shop is worth visiting. It's located in an a super car storage facility. He also snipped up some of the ppf was wasn't fully tacted on by my other installer before laying on the cquartz.
