Mexican Car Meet and Drive

About a month ago our loosely affiliated car club planned a meet and drive IN MEXICO for a friend who was taking delivery of a P1 to accompany his F1 and 675. We invited about 9 McLaren owners from the surrounding area to SHIP THEIR CARS TO MEXICO for a day of fun and fellowship then transporting the cars back FROM MEXICO to a local steakhouse. We ended up with 11 Maccas altogether, 2 BMW M6's, an E63 (Mine because I needed a hammer in this crowd.) and the TTV8, a 911, a Ferrari, a Lambo Superleggera, Corvette Z06, an Aston DB12, a couple of Masers, Ford GT and the Pagani Huyera. Blurred the easiest stuff to get. Good luck getting the rest though looking up the P1 and Pagani registry would be easier than looking up plates. Only 204 P1s and far fewer Pagani's.

This is generally a driver group. We don't invite the posers as they slow the group down. There were 4 ladies there, 2 in their own McLaren and 2 riders. If someone can't take the speeds, our group is not the one for them. #nogaragequeens

Mmm as a fellow resident of the “southeastern United States”, i’m pretty jaded about seeing things like McLarens and even Paganis, but if i were in “Mexico” and a F1 blew past i would shit myself.

Thoughts:
I am smitten with the F1.
That would have been a cool cruise.
Pagani's don't do it for me.
I respect the craftsmanship and uniqueness but it looks like a kit car in my opinion. I think its the headlights and tail lights.

Nice shots, how are the roads in Mexico? Which part were you in? The one cemetery shot is pretty morbid

I think it's definitely the latter. They are so rare that enough people haven't seen them to allow a rating as you would have for a P1. I cannot overstate how amazing the car is in all aspects! It is literally the combination of engineering and artistic expressions.

I understand and appreciate your opinion. It is definitely outwardly and your assertion that they can look a bit kit-ish is valid. On the performance side, they are absolutely epic...
